Two part course. Dates to be confirmed in due course.
Many of us believe we are at the mercy of our emotions, that they are automatic and that we have no control over them. This has scientifically been proven not to be true.
We might often feel angry, or anxious, or depressed, or feel we have no confidence and are therefore powerless to change. Again, this is not true. We ALWAYS have more control over our emotions than we might think.
In the first of a two-part course, we will explore:
- What an emotion is – and what it isn’t
- Why being in control of our emotions is important for good health and every aspect of our lives
- The four elements that make up an emotional state, and
- A quick and effective way to change your emotional state whenever you want.
This is a fun, interactive course held in a safe, confidential space. You will take away a new way of looking at how you react to the world around you and some practical tools for managing your emotions.
How to get what I really need?
In the second part of this two-part course, we explore how to get what you REALLY need. No matter a person’s age, sex, gender, culture, religion, capabilities or social status, we all have exactly the same needs every single day. These are not wants but needs that must be met on a daily basis.
However, the vehicles we choose to meet these needs aren’t always the most productive or life-enhancing. In fact, some ways of meeting our needs can cause long term problems, hold us back from living the life we want and negatively affect our health.
No matter what your age or circumstance, learning what these needs are and how you currently meet them can be life changing because with self-awareness we can positively adapt and alter our behaviours and patterns. As we gain more awareness about what drives us, we also gain more understanding and compassion about the drivers of those around us too.
In this workshop we will explore:
- The needs every single person on the planet has
- The needs that are currently dominant in your life and may be impacting your progress in a negative way
- The many vehicles that people use to meet their needs – what are yours?
- The ultimate way to meet all your needs productively and healthily with confidence and enjoyment
This is a fun, interactive course held in a safe, confidential space but places are limited. Please be aware that the content of this course has changed lives for the better, therefore please don’t apply if you don’t want change.
